Winged Foot Cross Country Camp provides the base
upon which you can build a great season! Our uniquely individualized program
assures you the best possible preparation in a non-competitive, highly
motivational atmosphere. Our resident coaches will help you develop a program
if you do not have one already in place. There are miles of unpaved roads and
trails to enhance your training experience. We also provide you with the latest
programs and information to further enhance your training.
To be prepared, is the first step to a successful season!

Modified Cross Country, grades 6-8
Winged Foot Prep (modified cross country, grades 6-8) is a self-contained program held concurrently with our regular camp program, August 14-August 20, 2012. Winged Foot Prep operates with its own staff, who work specifically with this age group. Campers are closely supervised in all activities. Running activities are specifically designed for the needs and abilities of younger runners. When not running, campers enjoy the outstanding camp facilities.
Both High School and Modified Cross
Country Programs include:
Staff guided daily runs suited to the age and ability levels of each runner
Running- related activities and training such as medicine ball work outs, water
aerobics, plyometric and ab workouts, Pilates, and more
Staff guided off campus trail runs and activities in nearby State Parks
Recreational sports activities like beach volleyball and softball.
Swimming (pool) and boating (lake) under the supervision of trained and
licensed water safety personnel
Supervised evening activities, including age appropriate movie selections (at
the camp’s air conditioned movie theater), talent show, and our famous (and
oft-imitated) all campus scavenger hunt.
